The Stanhope Centre has built ties with departments in London to encourage cross-discipline and inter-institution discussion and support in media policy research. An advisory council is in formation that includes James Putzel (LSE), James Curran (Goldsmiths), Colin Sparks (University of Westminster), Eric Barendt (UCL),and Kevin Robins (Goldsmiths). The project would house a conference for graduate student presentations on media policy research and support in the development of thesis topics.
