A Conversation with Frank Webster

Frank Webster is Professor of Sociology at City University. Among his many recent publications are the books: Theories of the Information Society (2002) and Culture and Politics in the Information Age: A New Politics? (2001). Professor Webster's research interests are democratization and new media and information war. Discussions revolved around these topics and also the difference between the scholarly study of communication in the US and the UK. This event was part of the Annenberg PGCS Summer Event Series.
