Girmachew MERHATSION, 32, is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Reporter Magazine and Senior Editor of the weekly Amharic and English Reporter newspapers. He also regularly contributes political commentary to this weekly paper. The Reporter newspaper, the largest and most respected independent paper in the Ethiopia, has been growing rapidly in the past couple of years. Girmachew has been an important part of the team that has been pushing this expansion forward.
