Henry MUKASA, 32, received a BA degree in Mass Communications
from Makerere in 1998 where he focused on International Relations
and Development Economics. He has had a wide range of work experience
in journalism beginning as a trainee news reporter in the Current
Affairs section at radio Uganda in 1996. Henry then moved on to
Crusader newspaper and later the Monitor where he was Assistant
Editor of Leisure/Upcountry. He briefly served as the Co-ordinator
of the Buganda Kingdom Education and IT Project from 2001-2002
and has now returned to journalism as a Reporter on the Political
desk of the New
Vision newspaper--which was established with the assistance
of Museveni’s government and has now grown into one of the
largest papers in the country.
