Ruth
NESOBA is currently a Radio Programmes Producer and the
prime-time news presenter on the Kiswahili service for the Kenya
Broadcasting Corporation. As Current Affairs producer she
is responsible for the production and presentation of daily current
affairs programmes- both live and pre recorded. She is also the
Commentator of the live transmissions of National occasions. Ruth’s
current interests are in parliamentary and conflict reporting.
In 2000 Ruth received a Diploma in Mass communications with a
focus on Radio Production. She received recognition as the best
Radio Production student in 2000 at the Institute and has recently
been awarded the 2004 Head of Department commendation for excellent
live transmission commentary during the National Constitutional
Conference.
