East African Journalist Fellows

Throughout August and September the Selection Committee intensely reviewed over 100 applications from outstanding journalists in the region- the majority of the applicants came highly recommended to us through individuals and organisations active in the region. The choice was difficult but the following candidates have been selected as the 2005 Stanhope Centre and LSE Crisis States Research Programme Fellows. We are looking forward to having them join us here at the Centre as well as becoming involved in the LSE community. As their profiles suggest, they certainly have a great deal to teach us! At the below pages, you will find short biographies and work samples of our fellows.
